PA police confirm city’s third homicide case of 2025

A man found deceased on Tuesday at Prince Albert’s rail yards, now officially represents the city’s third homicide of 2025.

An autopsy completed earlier today identified the victim to be 39-year-old Wayne Keller.

Police noted next of kin have been notified.

The investigation is ongoing and at this time there have been no arrests.

On Tuesday, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police responded to the 1500 block of fifth Ave. E. for a report of a deceased male.

Police and Parkland Ambulance quickly arrived on scene and located Keller..

The Forensic Identification Section (FIS) and Saskatchewan Coroners Service were also called and attended the scene.

Major Crimes Unit Investigators are asking anyone with information that may assist in the investigation or anyone who had recent contact with Keller to contact police at 306-953-4222. Anonymous tips can be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online.
