Woman found deceased in downtown Prince Albert

The death of a woman who was found downtown Thursday morning is not considered suspicious at the moment, said Prince Albert Police.

Officers on routine patrol found the 39-year-old woman unconscious and not breathing in the downtown area at about 6:30a.m.

Access to 13th Street West was blocked while the investigation continued.

Staff from Parkland Ambulance were called and pronounced the woman deceased at the scene.

Members of the Forensic Identification Sections attended the scene alongside Patrol members and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service and initial investigation indicates the death is not believed to be suspicious.
