Window hit during drive by shooting in East Flat

A window in a home sustained the only damage from a drive by shooting in Prince Albert’s East Flat area yesterday.

Police were called to the 800 block of 15th Avenue East at 7 a.m. on March 24 after the window was shot.

Officers found damage to the back window of the residence that looked like a bullet hole and shortly afterward, arrested a woman outside the home.

A man who was hiding inside the home was also arrested and both were found to have multiple outstanding warrants.

Police said they have reason to believe the shooter was inside a white SUV with no license plate.

Just before 5 p.m. the same day, an officer found the suspect vehicle with no one inside.

At this time no one has been charged in relation to this shooting; however, police are continuing to investigate and anyone with information that may assist is asked to contact police at 306-953-4222 or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
