Stars on Stage lights up Prince Albert
Acknowledging this is her graduation year, Prince Albert’s Ella Attree says the feeling is surreal.
The 17-year-old is both performing and coaching at this weekend’s Stars on Stage competition in Prince Albert. The event, which is being held at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre, features over 400 dancers, who are representing seven different studios.
“For some of them it’s their first competition so the nerves are definitely there,” Attree said, adding she does her best to remind her students it’s also meant to be a fun competition.
Inspired by her old sister, who also trained at Performing Arts Warehouse, Attree has been dancing since she was about five years old. She then began competing when she was nine.
