Raiders kick off final week of regular season with Moose Jaw
After picking up two wins on the road wins and looking more like the team we’re used to seeing this season, the Raiders are still in a heated battle for the top spot in the East Division as the final week of the season kicks off.
With the Raiders trailing the top two teams Saskatoon and Brandon by just a single point, Tuesday’s game against the Moose Jaw Warriors is going to be an important one.
The Raiders are coming into the action as the sixth place team in the Eastern Conference and the third place team in the East Division with a record of 36-23-5-1 (W-L-OTL-SOL). The Warriors however are the last place team in the league with a record of 14-43-6-2.
The Raiders and Warriors played each other a total of five times prior this year. The Raiders won every game starting of 6-4 during the opening weekend in September, then 6-3 in December, a 3-2 shootout win in early January, and finally 8-2 and 4-1 wins in February.
