13-year-old shot by 14-year-old after school in West Flat

Prince Albert Police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy shot a 13-year-old boy in the 1600 Block of 17th Street West on Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to the scene at 4:17 p.m. for a reported injury and found the youth who had been shot. Sources tell paNOW the boy was shot in the back of the leg with a .22 calibre gun.

The injured teen was taken to hospital by Parkland Ambulance.

This morning, at around 9:15 a.m., officers went to a home on 3000 block of Dunn Drive and arrested the 14-year-old.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact police at 306- 953-4222, or in an emergency, 9-1-1.
