Nipawin woman charged with armed robbery near Elk Ridge

A 20-year-old Nipawin woman is in police custody following an armed robbery at a business at the intersections of Highway 2 and 264 near Elk Ridge.

Jake Grieves is charged with one count of robbery and three counts of failing to comply with probation orders and will make her next court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Friday.

On February 6 just before 10 p.m. a woman approached a vehicle and threatened the driver, telling them to drive to a specific location.

The victim reported the incident to Prince Albert RCMP and officers found the vehicle at a business in Northside. They arrested the suspect there. No injuries were reported.
