This year’s installment will see 14 teams in the men’s division competing for a title, while the PAGC Lady Chiefs will battle with Team Woodland in the first ever women’s division in a best-of-three series.

“Hockey is deeply rooted in our communities—it’s a part of who we are,” said PAGC Grand Chief Brian Hardlotte. “The Battle of the Nations is more than just a tournament. It’s a gathering of nations, families, and fans who share a love for the game.”

The 14 teams competing in the men’s division include the PBCN Stars, Sandy Lake Chiefs, Patuanak Pats, Stanley Mission Riverhawks, La Ronge 89ers, Fond du Lac Grizzlies, James Smith Scouts, Pelican Narrows Raiders, Mistawasis Nehiyawak, Canoe Lake Gunners, Red Earth 29ers, Sturgeon Lakers, Whitefish Flyers and the Southend Sabres.

The defending champions are the Stanley Mission Riverhawks.

Admission is $10 per person, while children under five and Elders 65 and older get in for free.

Puck drop for the championship game is set for 6 p.m. Sunday at the Art Hauser Centre.
