Woman charged after man stabbed in West Flat home

A 31-year-old woman is charged with aggravated assault after a man was stabbed Monday evening.

Prince Albert Police said that just before 10 p.m. on Jan. 6, they were called to the home in the 500 Block of 12th Street West after an altercation led to the victim being stabbed.

Paramedics took the 33-year-old victim to Victoria Hospital with non-life threatening injures.

Police found two knives at the scene and were told that the pair had been arguing before the man was stabbed.

P.A. Police said they remain committed to responding swiftly and addressing interpersonal violence in the community and supports are in place for victims.
