Man charged following Sunday stabbing

One man has been charged with aggravated assault and breaching his conditional sentence order following a stabbing incident Sunday morning.

Prince Albert Police confirmed today they arrested a 33-year-old man after a call just before 4 a.m. yesterday.

When the police arrived at the 1800 Block of 14th Street West, they found the injured man who had walked down the street before collapsing.

Officers saw he was injured, called paramedics who treated him and took him to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

Police said they believe the stabbing happened inside a home about a block away on the same street.

One man who was inside the house was arrested and charged while two women were detained for a weapons investigation.

Officers believe the accused and victim know each other.
