Woman wanted in stabbing in East Hill area

One woman was taken to Victoria Hospital this morning after being stabbed in the East Hill area.

Prince Albert Police were called to the 2900 Block of 5A Avenue East just after 7 am and found Parkland Ambulance already on scene treating the victim.

The 27-year-old woman’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Officers found a knife at the scene and learned that there had been a fight between the suspect and victim outside of a residence.

The suspect is described as female, wearing a blue and yellow jacket and having her hair in a bun.
