“We are just so thrilled,” said Cody Barnett with the Boreal Healthcare Foundation. “It’s remarkable that the community comes together and accomplishes something like this every year.”

It took place at Mann-Northway GM from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. All money raised is being used to ensure patients at Victoria Hospital receive the best possible care during their stay.

Over the last three Give a Little Life Day events over $1 million has been raised: $351,000 in 2021, $239,000 in 2022, and $464,360 in 2023.

In the past, funds raised during the Give a Little Life Day Radiothon have helped purchase equipment for the Hospital’s operating room, emergency room, ICU, and maternity ward.

Generous donations were presented throughout the day. (paNOW)

Barnett said the foundation will work with the healthcare professionals in each of the hospital’s units to determine priorities for equipment.

“There probably some going to every department in the hospital as the needs are far reaching,” he said.
