Onion Lake man missing for nearly seven months found deceased near Alcurve: RCMP
An Onion Lake man who was reported missing nearly seven months ago has been found deceased near the town of Alcurve, Alberta.
Maidstone RCMP said they received a report of found human remains on Monday in a pasture about 10 kilometres north of the unincorporated community. Police, along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, determined that the remains are that of 28-year-old Serayne Kematch.
He was last seen walking north of a business in Alcurve in the R.M. of Britannia near the intersection of Highways #3 and #17 around noon on April 10.
Preliminary investigation has found that Kematch’s death is not suspicious in nature, and police will not provide further details on the incident.
