Manslaughter charges laid in connection to September death

A 25-year old man from La Ronge has been charged with one count of manslaughter in connection to the death of a man from Pinehouse Lake.
In the early morning hours of Sept.16, La Ronge RCMP responded to a report of a seriously injured man outside of an apartment building on Bedford Drive.
When they arrived they found 29-year old Darris Sanderson who was transported to hospital, but later died.
Exactly a month later, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes and the Warrant Enforcement Suppression Team arrested Tyrell Dumais and charged him with manslaughter. Dumais was scheduled to appear in La Ronge provincial court on Thursday.
