26-year-old man suffers serious injuries after getting struck by vehicle

Update: Based on information provided by Parkland Ambulance, paNOW had reported the man was 26. A family member has since reached out to paNOW and stated the young man is actually 21 and is in critical care.

They also confirmed he is not homeless (there’s been a few online suggestions he may have been) and was simply crossing the street.

A 20-year-old man has been sent to hospital in Saskatoon after being struck by vehicle early Sunday afternoon in Prince Albert.

At approximately 1:42 p.m. Sunday, Parkland Ambulance Paramedics, along with police and the firefighters responded to 12th St. and 2nd Ave. W.

The man suffered serious injuries and was initially transported to the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert before being transferred to Royal University Hospital for further care and treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. PAPS said on Monday afternoon that no arrests had been made yet.
