From the prairies to the pros: North Central connections at NHL camps

All 32 NHL teams are busting out their marshmallows and folding chairs as training camp is set to get underway.

Thursday marks the unofficial start to the hockey season as camp is set to open across the league.

Of the hundreds of players, many have a connection to North Central Saskatchewan and its storied hockey roots.

See below a list of players attending NHL training camps this week with connections to the area:
