Last night was a busy one for Prince Albert Police, as they responded to 55 calls and arrested 10 people.

In one of the incidents, officers were called to an aggravated assault around 2 a.m. in the unit block of 22nd Street East.

A 23-year-old man was shot and taken to hospital where he is in critical but stable condition.

This investigation is continuing and police remain on the scene gathering evidence. No arrests have been made yet.

Around 20 minutes later, a taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint and had his vehicle taken.

Three suspects fled the scene in the stolen taxi.

The first suspect is a 6-3 man, wearing an orange and yellow T-shirt, jogging pants, a backpack, and hat.

The second suspect was male and wearing shorts, light-coloured socks and shoes, a hat and a large chain necklace.

Suspect three was a man wearing a hoodie, dark pants and cross-body style bag. The vehicle was found in the area of Lakeview Drive.

Using the police dog, officers recovered a machete and a gun but the suspects are still at-large.

Twenty minutes after the second call, a third call saw officers respond to the 200 Block of 15th Street West for a stabbing.

A 27-year-old man was suffering from stab wounds following a reported altercation.

He was taken to Victoria Hospital where his condition is serious but stable. A backpack was taken from him and has not been recovered.

Two youth were arrested but no charges have been laid and the file is still being investigated.

For now, PAPS said the three incidents do not appear to be related.
