One Arrow murder case committed for trial
The circumstances surrounding a young woman’s death at One Arrow First Nation will be heard at Court of King’s Bench in Prince Albert.
Harry Paul is accused of second-degree murder in the death of 24-year-old Monique Gamble.
A preliminary inquiry was scheduled for Monday at court in Wakaw, however proceeded to trial by way of consent committal. At this time, no trial dates have been set and the case will next be discussed during a pre-trial hearing involving lawyers and court staff.
In November, 2022, Gamble was found deceased at a residence. Wakaw RCMP had earlier received a call of a sudden death. Paul was 21 at the time of his arrest and police have previously stated he and the victim knew each other.
