The Prince Albert Raiders have traded 20-year-old defenceman Easton Kovacs to the Wenatchee Wild in exchange for a 5th round pick in the 2028 WHL Prospect draft.

Kovacs was first acquired by the Raiders early in the 2022-23 season after a trade with the Seattle Thunderbirds. Kovacs played 111 games for the Raiders across two seasons, including all 66 games of the regular season last year. In that time, Kovacs put up four goals and 13 assists from the blue line.

Kovacs’ WHL career has included stops in Lethbridge and Seattle, playing 178 games total. The Delta, B.C. native has 20 points (5G, 15A) in his WHL career.
