P.A. Police make trio of arrests following drug bust

Three Prince Albert residents are in custody following a drug bust by Prince Albert Police earlier this week.

On Thursday, officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of 21st Street East where Police located and seized one kilogram of methamphetamine, 11 grams of cocaine, $1710.00, ammunition, and an array of paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

As a result, three people were arrested at the scene.

Zane Rasmussen, 23, and Taylor Billette, 25, are both charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and breach of release order.

Meanwhile, 33-year-old Justin Ryder was handed the same charges along with possession of a dangerous weapon.

All three suspects appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Friday morning.
