One person transported to hospital after hit-and-run: PAFD

A Prince Albert resident was sent to hospital early Saturday morning following a vehicle vs pedestrian accident.

According to a Facebook post from the Prince Albert Fire Department (PAFD), crews were called to the scene near 2nd Avenue West and Marquis Road.

Upon arrival, one victim was found with injuries and was transported to hospital where their current condition is unknown.

Prince Albert Police said that the incident happened about 2:20 am on August 10.

The 38-year-old man who was struck was taken to hospital with serious injuries that were not life-threatening.

The vehicle that struck him is believed to be a black Chevrolet Impala. The driver did not remain on scene.
