Charity Concerts to Anniversary Celebrations

Busy concert weekend in Prince Albert area

A number of communities around the Prince Albert area are looking to cap off their summer with small concerts this weekend.

The lone Friday night concert is in Macdowall as Prince Albert musician Josh Stumpf is hosting a charity concert where the funds will be going towards buying instruments for the youth at Ranch Ehrlo.

The Sunset Country Music Festival is slated to open its doors at Friday night at 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 pm.

Moving on to Saturday, Bellevue will be hosting Moosefest 2024. The concert is headlined by former American Idol contestant and Weyburn, Saskatchewan’s own Brayden King. The doors open at 3:00 p.m. and the show begins at 4:00 p.m.

Also on Saturday, Christopher Lake is hosting their annual Western Days. While the annual event has seen attractions such as a parade, pancake breakfast, and a number of other community activities, they have added a concert stage into the event this year. The Western Days stage opens at noon and there is a parade at 11a.m.
