Charges laid after weapons complaint on Carr Place

One person was arrested and will appear at Prince Albert Provincial Court, following a disturbance Wednesday afternoon in Prince Albert’s River Heights area.
Officers responded to a weapons complaint and it was reported that a male had threatened a person who resided in that area and had possible weapons.
Police arrived on scene and with the help of the SERM Canine team, the suspect was apprehended close by. Subsequent to that, the Canine team continued to search the area, but no weapons were found.
The person in custody is facing multiple criminal charges relating to weapons, uttering threats and breaching a probation order. They were scheduled to make their first court appearance on Thursday.
