Fire consumes midtown house

A late night fire in Prince Albert’s midtown area is under investigation.

Early Thursday morning, just a few minutes after midnight, the fire dept. was dispatched to the 300 block of 13th Street East for a report of a structure fire.

On arrival, crews found a vacant boarded home, with fire exiting the structure from a second-floor window. Firefighters extinguished the fire, however the structure sustained extensive damage. There were no injuries to report.

A neighbour who spoke to paNOW said windows were broken and people were observed going in the other night.
