Prince Albert police suggest as many as three people involved with submerged vehicle

An incident last week in Prince Albert, in which a vehicle was retrieved from the river, remains under investigation and police are looking for three people who may have some answers.

On June 28, at 11:51 a.m., the Prince Albert Police Service responded to a single vehicle crash in the 100 Block River Street West. The information received was that a vehicle drove off River Street and entered the water.

Prince Albert Police, along with members of Parkland Ambulance and the Prince Albert Fire Department attended. Upon arrival, emergency personnel did not locate anyone at scene.

Firefighters also ensured there were no victims when they assisted with the removal of the vehicle from the river.

Witnesses indicated three occupants fled from the vehicle, a grey Ford Escape. Two males and one female were last seen west bound on the Rotary Trail.

The driver was described as a female, in her 20’s, with dark black long hair.
