PA police investigate serious assault

The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating a violent incident that occurred this week in the Crescent Heights neighbourhood.

On July 1st, at 8:28 p.m., officers responded to 1000 Block of Branion Drive for a report of an assault in progress. Information relayed was that three male suspects were assaulting a male victim, who was not moving.

As police arrived on scene, a 24-year-old man was located with injuries. He was soon after transported by ambulance to the hospital, and was listed in stable condition.

The area was circulated by police, along with a canine unit in search of the suspects. Further investigation revealed that three male suspects and one female suspect had fled the area southwest between the apartments in the 1000 block of Branion Drive.

The four suspects are described as follows:

• Female, 20-25 yrs, long dark hair, wearing a grey short sleeved shirt, black pants and carrying a purse.
• Male 1, 18-25 yrs, slim build, short dark hair, wearing a white jersey style muscle shirt with the number 11, black track pants with white stripes down the side and white running shoes
• Male 2, 20-25 yrs, average build, short dark hair, wearing a black ballcap, light colored shirt, dark pants with white pattern, white running shoes, and carrying a belt bag across his upper body
• Male 3, 20-25 yrs, average build, wearing a white tshirt, dark pants, white running shoes, and a dark ballcap backwards.

No arrests have been made at this time and the incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police directly or Crime Stoppers.Tips can also be submitted anonymously online.
