Norden Lutheran Heritage Site Summer Service

There will be a summer service and picnic at the Norden Lutheran Heritage Site on Saturday, August 17, at 2:00 p.m.

It has been many years since there has been a service at the church so the Board has decided that this would be a great time to hold a function at the site to mark the completion of the Roof Replacement project. The schedule for the event will look like this.

2:00 PM Short ceremony and ribbon cutting to mark the completion of the Roof Replacement project. Please gather at the front of the Church.

2:15 PM Non denominational service will be held in the Church. Service will be led by Pastor Kelly Taylor of Kinistino. Kelly and his wife, Angie, were married in this church 30 years ago. Their roots run deep in this community and we are looking forward to his message. Everyone is welcome to attend.

3:15 PM Visiting and touring the church and cemetery.

4:00 PM BBQ and Pot Luck Picnic.

Hosted by the Board of Directors, hamburgers and hot dogs, buns etc. will be supplied and two generous people have volunteered to supply and cook a Brisket.

We are asking everyone to bring a side dish or salad for a pot luck picnic.

We have arranged for a event tent and tables to be set up on the site. This will be a “Bring your own Chair event” We will also have portable washrooms available.

This Church was built to bring people together over 100 years ago. We hope you will join us and continue this tradition this summer.
