The 13th Annual Victoria Hospital Charity Golf Classic, held on Friday at Emma Lake Golf Course, raised $74,333.

The goal of the event is to raise funds for life-saving equipment and essential services at the Victoria Hospital, Herb Basset Home, and Pine View Terrace Care Home.

The day began with a BBQ lunch during registration and the golf tournament kicked off with a shotgun start in a Texas Scramble format. The day ended with a banquet.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Cody Barnett, CEO of the Boreal Healthcare Foundation, said, “We are deeply grateful for the incredible support from our community and sponsors. The funds raised will significantly impact our ability to provide top-tier medical care and enhance the comfort and care of residents in our facilities. This event truly exemplifies the power of community spirit and collective effort.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our presenting sponsor, Ruszkowski Enterprises, for their invaluable support.
