Police still looking for answers two years after Lawrence Lavallee murder

On the two-year anniversary of the murder of Lawrence Lavallee, the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) is still looking for answers as to who was involved.

At around 5:30 a.m. on May 28, 2022, 32-year-old Lavallee was shot after leaving a home in the 1000 Block of 11th Avenue East. Police responded to the reports of shots fired in the area and eventually found him seriously injured in the 100 block of Eighth Street East.

He was rushed to Victoria Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Police investigation determined the suspects drove north on 11th Avenue East right after the shots rang out.

Since then, police have been looking for anything pointing them in the direction of who pulled the trigger, or who is associated.

In early December 2023, PAPS released a photo of Lavallee and of the red Chevrolet Trax they believe was used in the shooting.

Lavallee’s family and investigators are again asking the public to come forward with any information they may have about who is responsible or involved with the homicide.

Information or tips can be submitted to Prince Albert Police at 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted anonymously online by clicking here.
