Police tracked and located people involved in morning crash
Prince Albert RCMP are continuing to investigate a crash that happened early Friday morning on Highway 2 South.
Police were called to the scene at around 6:30 a.m. for a collision between a truck and an SUV and upon the arrival of emergency crews, both vehicles were in the ditch.
RCMP said the truck’s lone occupant, a 62 year old man, was transported to hospital with minor injuries while the SUV’s occupants fled the scene, leading to extensive police officer and Police Dog Services searches.
Continued investigation eventually led officers to the occupants who were located elsewhere. Police did not specify where they were located.
