P.A.’s Rebecca Strong wins $1-million

Heading into the finale of Canada’s Got Talent, Rebecca Strong told paNOW, “I’m just trying to keep it really chill and not psyche myself out.”
In doing that, the 20-year-old Prince Albert singer ended up giving chills with her soul-stirring voice and psyching up an entire country of adoring fans who ended up voting her as the million-dollar winner of the popular televised competition. The cash prize is considered the biggest in Canadian television history.
Strong gave an epic performance in the finale with her own spin of the Adele song ‘Rolling in the Deep.’
“It was on my bucket list…I’ve been dreaming since I was very young, and I’ve always dreamt of being on big stages and (Canada’s) Got Talent, so yeah I did think that I would be on a stage like this at some point in my life, I just didn’t know when,” she told paNOW earlier in the week.
