Raiders select 11 players during 2024 Prospects Draft, two during U.S. Priority Draft

The future is even brighter for the Prince Albert Raiders following the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft and U.S. Priority Draft.

Like last year, the Raiders selected second overall choosing Victoria, BC defenceman Brock Cripps from St. George’s School U15 Prep.

Following the pick, the Raiders were meant to draft ninth however in an exciting turn of events, Prince Albert completed a trade with Kelowna to move up in the draft.

The Raiders dealt the ninth overall pick, the 57th overall pick, and a 2025 fifth-round pick to the Rockets for the fourth overall pick where the Green and Gold selected centreman Ben Harvey from the Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 Prep.

A day earlier on Wednesday, the club drafted a pair of prospects from south of the border during the WHL U.S. Priority Draft, selecting a forward and a defenceman.
