Tramp’s Music & Books Free Comic Book Day on May 4

May 4 is our Free Comic Book Day. We have many free comic books that have been provided to us from our suppliers.

We have a store wide 50 per cent off most items for Friday and Saturday.

“We have over 10,000 back issues of comics from Marvel, DC, Image, IDW, Titan and many other indie publishers. Ranging from Amazing Spider-Man(Marvel) to Zatanna (DC). Also the current issues of your favourite Super-heroes,” said Store Manager Jed Forsman.

“Recently added to the shop is our new Key Comic Wall. This is loaded with first appearances, variant covers and other key issue comics to add to collectors collections.”

Free Comic Book Day first started back on May 4, 2002.

“We have been providing comics and collectables to Prince Albertan’s since 1986. As a kid I was always excited to go to the comic book store with dad on Saturdays to check out all the cool the items the store had on display. Even as an adult its like being a kid in the candy store as the saying goes. But in this case, the candy is comic books,” Forsman said.

“So if you have time on Saturday please stop in at 29 12th Street West, just off Central Avenue. Bring the whole family for the free comics and check out the newly designed store and all the cool items we have available for 50 per cent store wide on new and used DVD’s, blue rays, CD’s, vinyl, books and of course comics. Except TCG’s, posters and Key comic book display wall items.”

Prince Albert Community Futures is also putting on “May the 4th be with you & your family” located at the Prince Albert Exhibition from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
