A truck stolen from Saskatoon containing over $20,000 in auto parts was found yesterday in Prince Albert.

Prince Albert Police said that they went to the 900 Block of 17th Street West on April 11 just before 9:00 am after a report of some suspicious activity.

People were unloading expensive property from a delivery truck that had been stolen from a business in Saskatoon earlier the same day.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000. He will make his first court appearance on April 25 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.

The PAPS Proactive Policing Unit said that reporting suspicious activity is crucial to helping maintain public safety and preventing crime.

“By reporting such incidents promptly and accurately, community members play a vital role in assisting police investigations and protecting their neighborhoods. Timely reporting allows the police to intervene swiftly, potentially preventing harm to individuals and property. We would like to thank the public for their vigilance in reporting any suspicious behavior or activities promptly,” PAPS said in a news release.
