STARS responds after pedestrian hit by vehicle on James Smith Cree Nation

A pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on the James Smith Cree Nation.

The Kinistino Fire Department was called to the scene early Thursday morning.

After they arrived, they administered first aid and set up a landing area for STARS Air Ambulance.

Paramedics were on the scene to help the pedestrian until the helicopter arrived.

So far there has been no word on the condition of the pedestrian.
