Mentoring the next generation of agriculture leaders
Young people have a chance to shape the future of the agriculture sector, and Saskatchewan’s farmers and ranchers have a wealth of knowledge and experience they’re eager to share.
The Next Gen Agriculture Mentorship Program, delivered by Canadian Western Agribition (CWA), connects them to encourage and support the agricultural leaders of the future.
CWA, in partnership with the federal and Saskatchewan governments, accepts eight applicants for an 18-month mentorship experience.
For this cohort, mentees are paired with leaders in agriculture and are exposed to industry knowledge, board and governance training, advocacy, business education, and networking opportunities.
