Prince Albert RCMP confirm missing woman found deceased

Prince Albert RCMP say a woman who was reported missing last week has been found deceased, and the initial investigation has found no evidence of foul play.

Julie Mckenzie had been last seen on March 2 and has connections to Little Red River First Nation north of Prince Albert.

RCMP indicated McKenzie’s family had been notified and Victim Services has been engaged to provide support.

The Saskatchewan Coroners Service continues to investigate.

In the meantime, Prince Albert RCMP also thanked local search and rescue teams for their assistance in the investigation.
