City of P.A. declares Snow Route Parking Ban

Mar 4, 2024 | 8:02 AM

After a huge dump of snow over the weekend, the City of Prince Albert has a lot of streets to clear.

As a result, the city has put in a Snow Route Parking Ban which begins at 9 a.m. Monday.

This means that parking is prohibited on Snow Routes, which are any streets marked with “No Parking When Declared” signs.

The parking ban will require drivers to remove their vehicles from Snow Routes which are marked by a snow route sign and any vehicles not removed will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Parking bans are temporary, usually lasting 48 hours unless persistent snowfall requires a parking ban to be re-declared.

If Priority One streets are cleared before the 48 hours have lapsed and there is no threat of a continuing storm, the parking ban may be withdrawn sooner.
