Sloan Stanick scored three times, all on the powerplay, to lead the Prince Albert Raiders to a 5-2 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings Saturday night at the Art Hauser Centre.

The Raiders fell behind 1-0 but rallied for four consecutive goals to take control of the game. Aiden Oiring and Turner McMillen also scored for P.A.

The Green and Gold were able to take advantage of a shorthanded Wheat Kings squad that started the game with just nine forwards.

The two division rivals are set to square off two more times this season, with both meetings coming in Manitoba in March.

With the win the Raiders remain in seventh spot in the Eastern Conference, six points back of the Wheaties.

Prince Albert is set to welcome the Red Deer Rebels to the Art Hauser Centre on Wednesday evening.
