Junior trapper event returns during final weekend of Winter Festival
There’s nothing fishy about the experience of eating some freshly fried fish and attendees at this year’s Prince Albert Winter Festival will have their chance on Saturday.
That’s just one part of a packed final weekend of activity, said Tammy Gibb, secretary of the Prince Albert Wildlife Federation.
“We’re great. Junior Trapper is coming back. This is the first year in a long time that it’s been back and I’ve got a wonderful partnership going with Shane Bird from PA Indian and Metis Friendship Centre,” she said.
Organizers hope to have about 80 children participate in the Junior Trapper event as it makes its return.
