P.A. Winter Triathlon postponed due to warm conditions

The Prince Albert Winter Triathlon has been postponed.

The annual race was meant to take place on Saturday at Little Red River Park. However, warm weather has forced organizers to postpone the event to a later date.

“We’ve postponed the race to a later date to allow for some better conditions in the Park,” said race director Roy Fremont.

The winter triathlon consists of participants doing a run, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing all on snow.

Fremont added that the postponement does not come as a surprise as race organizers had been expecting to postpone the event because of the mild winter.
