RCMP warns of public safety after firearms stolen in Creighton
Crighton RCMP says there could be a threat to public safety after several firearms were stolen from multiple cabins in the community.
Police reported that a business in Creighton was broken into during the early hours of Saturday morning where thieves managed to steal a white 2015 Dodge van, which had company decals on it, as well as a Saskatchewan license plate that read 864 KYV.
The van was later observed at the scene of multiple break-and-enters at a number of cabins at Birch Portage on Highway 106, where residents reported that several firearms were stolen.
Police warn that the stolen items could be a danger to public safety.
