Sask. Teachers announce one-day withdrawal of noon-hour supervision
One day after announcing the next round of rotating strikes, Saskatchewan teachers say noon-hour supervision will be the next to go.
The Teachers Federation (STF) said on Thursday, they would withdraw noon-hour supervision province-wide, but only for that day.
In a news release, the STF said teachers will leave the building during each school’s designated lunch break period, noting teachers provide this supervision voluntarily.
School divisions will inform parents and caregivers of any operational or schedule changes due to the job action.
