Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-sign Nick, Noah Hallett to extensions
WINNIPEG — Canadian defensive backs Nick and Noah Hallett agreed to terms on contract extensions with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Thursday.
The brothers were eligible to become free agents Feb. 13. Nick Hallett’s extension is for two years while Noah Hallett’s deal covers the 2024 season.
Nick Hallett returns to Winnipeg for a fifth season. The five-foot-11, 202-pound native of London, Ont., hasn’t missed a game with the club since being selected in the 2019 CFL draft, a span of 68 regular-season contests and nine playoff games — including four Grey Cups.
He led Winnipeg with 20 special-teams tackles last season, which was third-most in the CFL.
