RCMP arrest man wanted for multiple serious offences in Montreal Lake area

RCMP have charged a 30-year-old man for an alleged assault that happened on Montreal Lake Cree Nation last October.

Michael Roberts was taken into custody on Tuesday. He was found at a home on Montreal Lake.

While police specifically highlighted the assault in October, Roberts was wanted for multiple serious offences that happened in the area between June 2023 and January 2024.

Roberts was in a Prince Albert Provincial Courtroom on Wednesday.
