About the Role: As Artistic Director, you will co-lead the gallery’s vision and operations, forming part of a shared leadership model. You will collaborate closely with the Administrative Director and engage with a seasoned programming and administrative team. Along with our Board of Directors, and a network of community partners, supporters, and funders you will elevate the gallery’s stature and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

· Curate and direct innovative exhibitions and manage the Permanent Collection.

· Play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making in tandem with the Administrative Director and the Board. Including writing grant proposals.

· Engage with community partners to enhance gallery outreach and impact.

· Supervise and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.

Qualifications:

· Advanced degree in Fine Arts, Art History, or related fields.

· Demonstrated experience working in an art gallery

· Strong leadership and collaboration skills in a shared governance model.

· Proven experience in building relationships with community partners and funders.

· Criminal record check required for employment.

Shared Leadership and Community Engagement:

· Integral part of a dynamic duo with the Administrative Director, shaping the gallery’s future.

· Active participant in Board meetings, offering artistic insights to guide governance decisions.

About the Role: In this role, you will co-lead the gallery’s operations and strategy, working in tandem with the Artistic Director. You’ll be a key liaison with our Board of Directors, an experienced programming and administrative team, plus our robust network of community partners, volunteers, supporters, and funders.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee financial planning, operations, and strategic growth in collaboration with the Artistic Director. Includes writing grant proposals.

· Engage actively with the Board of Directors in strategic decision-making and reporting.

· Design a growth and sustainability strategy.

· Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, aligning with the gallery’s mission and goals.

· Establish and cultivate partnerships and donors.

· Attract new revenues to increase operational and activity budgets.

· Supervise and inspire a skilled administrative team, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment. Including overseeing management of volunteers.

Qualifications:

· Business Management or Financial Degree (or equivalent).

· Demonstrated success with budgeting & resources management.

· Experience in the non-profit sector, working with boards and diverse teams.
