Will Corey Mace raise the Riders?

It was not a bad opening for a new Rider Head Coach.
Corey Mace, the former defensive coordinator of the Saskatchewan Roughriders made his first public appearance Saturday at a season ticket holders meeting at Mosaic Stadium. The hiring of Mace contrasted with the weaselling of Buck Pierce and Scott Milanovich as both the Bombers and Tiger-Cats played silly bugger in allowing each candidate to interview for the Rider job, but then Pierce pulled his name before it became official that Mace won the job and Milanovich apparently did not check a number of boxes before retreating back to Hamilton where he was named head coach.
Mace made it clear he wanted to be in Regina and was up to the challenge of turning the Riders around. Mace brought in Marc Mueller, the former Calgary offensive coordinator and U of R quarterback and grandson of Rider legend Ron Lancaster, to be the new offensive coordinator.
