The 22-year-old woman charged in connection with a fatal collision last weekend near Kinsmen Arena in Prince Albert has been given bail.

Kayla Walker was released with conditions such as an 8:00 pm to 8:00 am curfew, having no contact with several people and she cannot drive.

Walker is charged with dangerous driving causing death and another causing bodily harm.

Last Saturday evening, Walker was alleged to be the driver of a vehicle that collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Central Avenue and 28th Street West.

The passenger of the second vehicle, Daniella Clarke, 30, was killed and the driver, an unidentified 53-year-old man, was taken to hospital, treated, and released.

Prince Albert Police said the investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing.

Walker’s next court appearance is Dec. 20 in Provincial Court.
