Santa makes a stop in Shellbrook
With a little more than three weeks to go until Christmas, Santa Claus is making sure he travels to as many communities as possible.
On Saturday, the second annual Santa Fun Day was held in Shellbrook and included crafts, treats, and a chance to talk and pose for a picture with the jolly elf.
A gingerbread house-making station, was among the favourite activities, as well as a table where children could pack a special treat bag for the reindeer.
The free event was organized by the local Kinettes club, who in collaboration with the town of Shellbrook, simply asked for people to bring a non-perishable food item to support the local Food Bank. Club Member Kim Lamotte expressed to paNOW that she was very impressed with the turnout and was already looking forward to next year.
