Prairie Oat Growers Association (POGA) meets in Winnipeg next week for its annual conference.
Canada is a major supplier of oats with key export markets located in the U.S., Mexico, and Japan with Saskatchewan typically producing more than 50 per cent of Canadian oats each year.
Some of the presentations will include side banding versus midrow banding, the health benefits of oats, and analyst Randy Strychar will discuss the markets.
